Christian Roberts
Christian is the founder of Healing Hands of the Highlands. He is also a Pennsylvania state licensed physical therapist assistant. Born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, his calling was solidified during a trip to Guatemala with his wife in 2019. With a deep-seated passion for serving others, Christian spends his days tending to the orthopedic needs of those in his village and community.
Rocio (Rose) Roberts
November 12, 1995 - March 15, 2023
Rose tragically passed away 4 days after the birth of their second son, Amadeo Raymond. Her cause of death was ruled a pulmonary embolism with postpartum complications. Rose held a fierce love and passion for the community she grew up in. She had aspirations of becoming a midwife. She was a staunch pro-life advocate and believed in natural birthing techniques. Her desire, apart from being a wife and a mother, was to fight the obstetric violence crisis here in Guatemala and assist midwives by providing high quality care and education.
*Surviving spouse, Christian, is the proud father to soon-to-be 4 year-old, Romeo, and soon-to-be 2 year-old, Amadeo.
